Martinez himself described the first half of this fashion model freakfest of a film as "a melodrama like Valley of the Dolls, and the second half is like The Texas Chain Saw Massacre," and for that mindbending blend he composed a hypnotic, electronic masterpiece in the grand tradition of such European masters as Goblin, Vangelis, and Tangerine Dream.
